NOVA Day - a real hit!

There was a long queue on the street when NOVA had invited over +300 customers and partners to the world premiere of NOVA Day at Södra Teatern.

The speakers had been carefully selected to both inspire and share their experiences and knowledge. All of NOVA's six Swedish sister companies also participated on stage. The anticipation was high and so was the noise level - the positive atmosphere, the buzz and the laughter. To finally be able to meet in person and take part in reconnaissance and listen to professional speakers was an energy boost that many longed for! 

We had invited

Tobias Degsell

who talked about creativity, collaborations and innovative thinking. Tobias has a background at the Nobel Museum and has studied the creative processes of the Nobel Laureates and their capacity for creative and innovative thinking. Fast-paced and accurate! 

Per Ljungberg and Arne B Andersson

Per and Arne (also known as Arne at Posten) from the Swedish Trade Federation are experienced trend spotters and advisors in e-commerce. They talked about the future of e-commerce and taught us a lot of e-com concepts. Fun and educational! 

Mårten Bokedal

from Optimizely delivered their insights at turbo speed and with a twinkle in their eye. Mårten is particularly passionate about experimentation and A/B testing and taught us the importance of ecosystems. Here it was important to keep up! 

Elinor Falkman

Rhetoric expert and storyteller. Good rhetoric is about method, technique and practice, something that Elinor knows like the back of her hand! Logos, Pathos, Ethos build your brand!  

Matthew Hearle

Creative strategist Lead at TikTok concluded the seminar part by saying that TikTok is not just for children and young people who dance. On TikTok, businesses can really build brand and increase their sales!

Our takeaways

  • All the speakers talked about knowledge and cooperation (Lego building). It was very interesting and inspiring!
  • Rhetoric and behaviour guide our decisions and choices, while knowledge and data lead to a better outcome that can also be predicted. The combination of these, as well as cooperation between different minds, helps us to achieve a result that we really want.
  • It is becoming increasingly important to orchestrate and to get a whole that fits together and that this is more important than a focus on individual islands that can be good in themselves but are not connected, whether in terms of systems, teams or data flows.
  • The physical meeting - the energy, the anticipation, the buzz when 350 participants get an afternoon of inspiration and knowledge and plenty of space to network/talk - from that new opportunities arise both for us and for our customers!
  • Finally, Tobias Degsell's winged words:
    It's not about passion. If you're going to succeed, it's all about obsession!
