How long have you worked with Optimizely?

I have worked with the web and Optimizely (formerly Episerver) for over 22 years and still find it just as fun! To be able to deliver really good solutions to our customers and to do it with our talented consultants is a favour! There have been many intranets and external websites over the years. I have also worked as partner manager at the product company Episerver, later Optimizely, for seven years. It was an exciting period. Episerver, as the company was then called, went from being a smaller product company to moving towards new markets such as England and the USA.

In the role of consultant and project manager, I have always been driven by working close to the customer and that together you come up with a good solution - to see the pride at launches - both with the customer and the team that designed and built is the best thing I know - I never get tired on that feeling of pride and joy!

What is your role at Epinova?

I am part of Epinova's management with particular responsibility for market and recruitment. I am passionate about communication and building Epinova's brand, both towards customers, potential new candidates and us who work here.

When I started, few people knew about us. And now, to see the results of the marketing work, together with our talented consultants who deliver, where customers now contact us, and where I get to work with the entire chain from strategy, brand to supporting the sales organization, and that this ultimately leads to satisfied customers, yes it's very funny!

For me, this is closely connected - how we are perceived by customers, how we attract new employees and how those who work for us enjoy and are proud to work here.

You are also responsible for recruitment and our internship program, tell us!

Yes, I am responsible for recruitment and have built up that process, which has been successful. I also run our LIA program that I started in the fall of 2020.  I had a strong belief that it was a good way for us to grow and find new talent. The mix of bringing in juniors who literally absorb everything they can, and under the guidance of our incredibly talented senior developers, grow into the professional role and how we work, has been a successful concept! It's great fun to be able to help new talents into the IT industry and to contribute with what I can as a mentor and in the two management teams I'm part of at Nackademin, which we collaborate with.

How has your journey at Epinova been?

When I started, there were five of us. Now we have over thirty employees. It has been a great journey, both for me personally and for the company. The values we stand for are the same, but we are more talented people now, which means that we can take on more large customers and assignments and help customers with both strategy and UX/UI design, to development and implementation, experimentation and optimization.

We support our customers in their digital investments and I am very proud of the strategy we have chosen, not to build from scratch every time, but that we can give our customers value right from the start with our starter package where we have ready-made page types, blocks and features. We deliver really high quality, from the user experience to smart features, SEO, performance and security to making it a joy for the editors to work in our solutions.

What are you looking forward to?

I look forward to continuing to be involved in building Epinova. It's an amazing company in so many ways! All of us who work here, everyone who contributes to our culture, our success, who puts their heart and soul into our customers' solutions and their successes. It's passion and yes, I get a bit ridiculously proud as a "mother" and think that I want to stay here!
