Attendo strengthens its digital presence

When Attendo set out to take a broader approach to its digital presence, it wasn't just about launching new websites. It was about creating a long-term platform capable of supporting both current needs and future development.

Together with Epinova, Attendo has now established a stable foundation designed to scale, evolve, and support the business over time.

From fragmented to unified

Like many organizations with complex operations, Attendo faced a familiar challenge: multiple websites, different target audiences, and a need to balance local adaptation with central control.

This is exactly the type of complexity Epinova's Proxima framework is built to handle. Instead of optimizing individual sites in isolation, we take a broader, platform-based approach.

Six new websites were launched, all built on a shared foundation. While two of the sites have their own visual identities, they are still based on the same structure, logic, and functionality.

This enables Attendo to:

  • Reuse functionality and components
  • Quickly launch new sites
  • Drive improvements centrally, but with impact across the entire platform

The result is a solution that reduces both costs and complexity over time.

Content migration without rework

Content is often one of the biggest challenges in a redesign. Here, we took a different approach.

Using Epinova’s content migration service, large parts of the content were automatically transferred and adapted to the new structure. This meant that Attendos editors were largely freed from manual work with, for example:

  • Information structure
  • Images
  • existing texts
  • redirects (to maintain SEO performance)

Instead, they could focus on what truly creates value: improving and refining content where it was really needed.

As Attendo puts it:

Our websites have now been given a solid technical upgrade, making sure we have the best possible ground to stand on when it comes to creating the future of digital care!

Accessibility that makes a difference

Improving accessibility was a key priority throughout the project.

The outcome is a KPI we are particularly proud of:

+21 percentage points in Siteimprove score

Of course, this is not just a number. This means that more people can actually access and benefit from Attendo's content and services.

A foundation for what comes next

The launch marked an important milestone in Attendo's continued digital journey, but at Epinova we cannot stress enough that the launch must never be the end goal. It should be the starting point.

With the new platform in place, the work continues. Through our strategic and continuous approach, we focus on steadily driving towards Attendo’s business goals.
