Do you know your digital climate footprint?

Digitalization - the knights of the climate?

Digitalisation is often mentioned as the knight of the climate. By digitizing and moving things to the cloud, we think that we are doing things climate-friendly and cheap. But is that really the whole truth? Welcome to the seminar!

It's easy to think that by digitizing and moving things to the cloud, we make  things climate-friendly and cheap. So then we can easily increase the number of marketing mailings and publish lots of reels on social media. We earn more money and we are climate-smart. No trees are allowed to die for our ads.

But is that really true? No, or rather no. IT is the sector that is currently increasing its carbon dioxide emissions dramatically. Even before the generative AI revolution, IT accounted for a larger climate footprint than the global aviation industry.

Welcome to the seminar

We've invited Cecilia Hjertzell, Head of Sustainability at T.Loop and Simon Piquer from Coor, two experts who will share facts, concrete tips and answer questions  – - how to reduce your digital climate footprint. We want to be part of change - become a climate knight you too! 🌱🌷💚
