A new chapter for Epinova in Finland
After following Epinova for years from the Finnish market, joining the company felt like a natural next step for Tomi-Jukka. With a background spanning digital services, strategy, and Optimizely, he now joins Epinova to help strengthen the company’s Nordic presence and support Finnish organisations in their digital transformation journeys.
What made you choose Epinova, and what do you hope to contribute with?
I think I had followed Epinova for a few years on the market. They weren't kind of our competitors here in Finland, so it was more about of a professional interest on seeing how Epinova is doing things in the Nordics. And it was quite impressive to be honest. I've seeing great feedback from the customers how Epinova is bringing value to their customers. So, I think it was a kind of a good thing to look into joining Epinova. We started talking with Linus during last summer and I liked what I heard about the company and the ambitions to go forward in the future. When we started talking again during the spring and also meeting other people from Epinova it was quite easy to jump in.
Your role is Customer Value & Strategy Advisor – what does that role mean to you?
I've never really been into titles but would say this is about what my work has already been for years and I love doing. Being the trusted advisor who can help and develop customers digital solutions into that next level. Whether it is about technical solutions, marketing challenges, ways of working or finding the right people for the right job.
What are you most looking forward to in this new journey?
Epinova is the first company that focuses on Optimizely in my career and that is a bit different from the past, and that focus might bring in a lot of different opportunities. Looking at Epinova's quite diverse customer base and expertice on the whole Optimizely One gives a good spot to grow forward in the market in the whole Nordics. Growing in Finland is definitely one of the big goals to look for.
How do you think Finnish customers can benefit from Epinova’s approach and expertise?
Finnish market has some great Optimizely partners, but none of them is really offering the whole Optimizely One portfolio or are focusing more on Optimizely. Epinova can bring in the expertice and can even partner with the current partners with our own solutions built on top of Optimizely.
WordPress is very strong on the market, but I've seen that many companies are struggling with WordPress when their business grows. For example, Optimizely Content Marketing Platform or Opal AI would be great additions to those struggling with growth while using WordPress but does not want to change from WordPress quite yet.
Also if we look at 4-5 year cycles when companies change their digital solutions, it is now 5 years after covid, and then there was a lot of new solutions built, now many companies are looking to renew their web services so it is great time to be on the market to offer Epinova's expertise to Finnish market.
